From Springfield to Rzeszów - a Saletan mission
The history of the Saletyni Order in Poland is connected with the mission in the United States, where many Poles lived at the beginning of the 20th century. Five Swiss monks came to Krakow to learn Polish and to be able to work with emigrants in Springfield. Some of them stayed here, and in 1936, the religious house of Saletyni was established in Rzeszów.
