The story of a small Bronia
In the basement of the building at 12 Okrzei, in 1945 the body of a brutally murdered nine-year-old girl Bronisława Mendoń was found. Jewish residents of the tenement house were accused of crimes. Allegedly it was supposed to be a ritual murder. It has never been proven that Jews are cruelly assassinated, but the whole story ended with the riots and departure of Jews who survived the Holocaust from Rzeszów.
